Limited Edition of a matched set of unfired John Wayne Winchester 94 carbine commemorative rifles, caliber .32-40 WIN, large loop lever action, 18.5" barrel, full length tube magazine. Only 300 of these sets were made in 1891. One rifle has a nickel finish receiver and the other has a brass finish receiver and each is engraved with John Wayne film scenes and titles. The top tangs are engraved with his signature and the stocks have John Wayne medallions. The round barrels on each gun is engraved One of Three Hundred and the top of the barrels are marked with a "WP" proof. Included along with the original factory boxes with packaging (styrofoam inner box, decorative sleeve, and outer shipping box with SN) and paperwork, comes a beautiful walnut case (41.5" x 15") with form fitted and blue velvet lined interior, form fitted for both rifles with other display accents including John Wayne's signature, Winchester logo and "Matched Set" and "One of Three Hundred". (Note: for photo purposes, the diamond logo that goes in the cut-out on the inside of the lid of the case, was taped to the back of the lid for protection. I temporarily put it in the diamond cut-out so you could see that we had it and where it went.) The case is in excellent condition and comes with it's original cardboard shipping box. SNs: JWDM291 (brass receiver) and JWM291 (nickel receiver).
