Circa 1900 French, Belle Époque, gilt bronze jewelry casket on toupie feet. Hinged lid featuring enamel portrait by noted Limoges enameller Louis Clement (France, 1882-1977) in gilt surround encircled with red guilloche accent. Laurel leaf and bow relief on starry background. Signed "L.C" along right central side. Interior is lined with discolored purple velvet, with slight cushioning along base and lid. Stamped "France" on base. Surface discoloration on gilt. Hairline mark across enamel portrait. Key is missing. Size: 7"w x 5.5"d x 3.5"h
