Vintage cast iron red Smilin' Sam From Alabam' The Salted Peanut Man bar peanut dispenser manufactured by General Merchandise Inc. Chicago. It is unclear if this one is reproduction or original. There is no slot for a coin and originally there would be a penny coin slot and embossed "pull" on the tongue from which the peanuts would be distributed. The lever on the side does move the tongue. Some mild paint loss. Size: 9.25"w x 9"d x 12"h
