Wooden box with photo of "Twenty Grand", winner of 1931 Kentucky Derby. The box is gold toned and the photo is framed and lifts out to reveal a mirror on the reverse side. The interior of the box is divided with a blue foil paper on the bottom. Plus a fantastic set of vintage racing horseshoes most likely belonging to 1931 Derby winner Twenty Grand. The shoes are housed in a display box with a unique and original photograph. Twenty Grand went on to win two legs of the triple crown, and horse of the year in 1931. This remarkable collectible came out of the estate of a local “Horse” family. Size: 9"w x 8:d x 2.5"h
