An American Waltham pocket watch, size 12, with the Phi Gamma Delta coat of arms on the face. The name J. G. Hager is also inscribed on the face and the initials JGH are engraved on the outside back of the case. The watch has a Waltham grade 210, 7 jewel movement that is currently not running though appears to be in good condition. The case is gold filled. The watch was made about 1913 and is about 1.75" diameter. If you recall, from previous Grimes auctions, John G. Hager and John G. Hager, Jr. are the grandparents and parents of the late Jody Grimes and both were part of management and the Board of Directors of The American Tobacco Company.
