This is a two-guns-in-one Lemat reproduction revolver with a 9 shot .44 cal. Black powder revolver, 6.75" barrel on top and a 20 ga. black powder 20 ga. shotgun barrel underneath. It is made by Pietta in Italy and is a faithful reproduction. It has a beautifully engraved 2 tone frame with nice walnut grips with lanyard ring on the butt. In its day, this was a unique revolver and a favorite of Confederate Generals Jeb Stuart and Beauregard as both carried  gun like this. This gun appears to be in near new condition and comes with a nice dovetailed box with blue interior. Overall length is 14" and an interesting gun to show or shoot.  (There is a hard cover book on LeMat firearms in Lot# 64 that would be a good addition to go with this gun).  Note: This gun is exempt from the FFL transfer laws and may be inspected at Wardlow Auctions office.
