An Eisenhower Centennial silver dollar designed to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Eisenhower's birth. The coin is the size of a regular Eisenhower and is 90% silver. Although Congress authorized the mintage of 4 million of these coins, actual mintage was much lower; less than 242,000 of these coins were actually minted.
