Michael Mickey Cohen (1913-1976) was a gangster from the 1940s and 50's who had worked with and for Al Capone, Lucky Lucianao, Bugsy Siegel and others in Chicago and LA. After he got out of prison, and in poor health, he decided to tell it "the way it was…". The book, copyrighted 1975 is signed "Most Sincerely - Mickey Cohen". It was compiled from his own tape recordings because the book reads like you were having a conversation with him talking in the gangster dailect you would expect. (Yes, I read excerpts from the book and it reads like a conversation). There are some colorful words and interesting photographs. The signature has not been officially authenticated but in comparing it with his other signatures, it is either very real or a damn good forgery.
