Late 19th Century footed silverplate butter dish, featuring repousse bird and floral motif on domed lid, and intricate embossed designs around the rim and feet. Lid can be lifted to rest in the carrying handle. Knife stand is attached, knife not included. Butter platter also not included inside of bowl. Stamped on the bottom "Rogers Smith and Co., Meriden CT, Quadruple, 4965". Signs of wear to the finish and scratches from use. Size: 6"w x 6"d x 14.25"h
